Its not hard at all, just download and unzip Minecraft Minimap. Make sure you backup your data folder. You can do this by going to any explorer and typing in %appdata% this will pull up the location where “.minecraft” folder is at. Next just copy the .minecraft folder and paste it somewhere and rename it backup. Next unzip Minecraft Minimap and then copy the folder to your Minecraft folder. Simple as that.
